Albert Steeze and his band are inviting you to join the party as they launch their debut single “July”. After spending the last 12 months recording and building their body of work, The Albert Steeze Band is ready and all fired up to show what they’e been working on. Mixing Aussie folk songwriting with some countryfied easy listening, there is no doubt that this’ll be a night to remember. Doggerel burst from the kennel and onto the stage to flog their special brand of bung blues, roughhouse rock, and sundry sad tunes about drinking, dishonour, and death. Based around the steel guitar and drums, Doggerel always keep a tight focus on looseness, ratbaggery, and having a rollicking good time. Throw in some bass, saxophone, and a shot or two, and things are really starting to look up for you. Every Doggerel show is a cheerfully irreverent affront to blues tradition that will leave your ears in even better condition.
A.C Saunders is a storyteller. With the voice of an angel and lyrics that could very well get her sent straight to hell. A.C Saunders is on her way to becoming an unstoppable force in the Melbourne music scene and far beyond, maybe even Tasmania. Seeing her play live is something to behold with more jaws dropping than the backend of a 4 day bender and more tears shed than the next 4 days that follow. you really don’t want to miss this. This is something special, she is special, she’s A.C FUCKIN SAUNDERS.
