12.30pm Steamboat Whistlers in Cocoa Jackson Lane

The Steamboat Whistlers are a Melbourne based 5 piece acoustic band dedicated to early jazz that emanated from New Orleans and up the Mississippi. The band consists of James Wisnesky, Trumpet, Dario Ogrin, Clarinet, Renee Limenidis, Trombone, Alastair Carr, Banjo, and Mark Zerafa, Sousaphone.

3pm The Jackson Combo Blues in Cocoa Jackson Lane

The Jackson Combo Blues have been impressing audiences across Australia and internationally since 2013. From Melbourne to San Francisco, with their swingin’ cool Blues and infectious New Orleans beats. Travelling south from Memphis to New Orleans with the songs of BB King, Joe Williams, The Meters, The Neville Brothers, Sonny Landreth, Professor Longhair, The Wild Magnolias and many many more.

6.30pm Brooklyn ’86 in Cocoa Jackson Lane

Brooklyn ’86 are a 5-piece New Orleans style brass band, inspired by the traditions of the famous city. With modern influences including The Rebirth Brass Band, The Hot 8 Brass Band and The Hackney Colliery Band, bringing elements of jazz, hip-hop and funk to their party grooves and soulful sounds playing some slammin’ NOLA classics, unique covers and fresh originals.
