You’re invited to an arvo at Stingrays Upstairs, in honour of International Women’s Day, hosting incredible female talent across multi disciplines and industries, creative tattoos and a market for and by the Sacred Heart Mission Women’s Shelter.
This year, we are celebrating women leading the way in the brewing, hospitality and service industries. On International Women’s Day, we're raising our glasses to the women who inspire change in a male-dominated field.
Opening at midday, guests are encouraged to bring and donate clothing they no longer need (but still in good condition) to the Sacred Heart Mission Women’s Shelter.
At 3pm, we are thrilled to be talking with Jayne Lewis (Former Two Birds Brewing, CEO Full Colour Life), Amanda Berry (Berry Hair), Asia Kwin (Music Victoria, Lulie Tavern), Caitlin Koether (Head of Fermentation, Mulberry Group) on their progress through their respective industries, sharing their wisdom to inspire the next generation and how we can accelerate action to gender equality.
On tap, we’ll be serving a special edition of Cosmic Microwave, made with fresh blood orange juice and a blend of Nectaron, Mosaic Cryo and Amarillo hops. Brewed by Bodriggy Bar Supervisor Chloe Rigoll + FOH female staff with the help of the Brewery team – $2 from every pour served will be donated to SisterWorks.
Throughout the event, Georgia Fogarty (@georgietatts) and Tenille Miller (@holydoolee) will be donating their time and creativity for those looking for a bit of ink in a good name. Spots will be allocated by first in, best dressed. Be sure to put your name down at the door. Prices are capped a $150 per flash with 50% donated to Djirra and Sisterworks.
Stick around for a boogie with @flossdog and Gracie on the decks from 7pm.
Entry is at tiered donated price with all proceeds going to Djirra. Passouts available.
The panel will be moderated by Chloe Rigoll.
