Tamer Taskaya`s new project Romanes Canes is finally ready to kick off with the support of three Galata Express members (Stefan Nocevski, Volga Tunca and Volkan Sus üzer). Luke Koszanski(electric guitar) and Miki Susa(drums) also join the crew with their unique styles. Australia’s brand new six-piece band play East European Gypsy, Middle Eastern and Turkish Dance music with contemporary Balkan/ Fusion style arrangements. The Melbourne-based band members have come from places like Turkey, Macedonia, Serbia, Hungary and Bulgaria to offer you a fully jazzed-up journey that wouldn’t even allow you to take a little break from your dancing!

Tapping into their European roots, the band has a fresh take on Klezmer, Balkan, Gypsy and Latin musical traditions. By blending these styles with the pulse of contemporary dance music culture, this seven-piece outfit brings high energy shows that get you up and dancing.
