Quince Jam consists of Don Jordan on trombone with Jim Glasson tenor sax, Ben Hooper on piano, James Lockwood on bass and Rob Mercer on drums. We play songs like "Moanin'", "Five Spot After Dark", "This I Dig Of You",  and "Sweetness",  written by such as Bobby Timmons, Benny Golson, Hank Mobley and Curtis Fuller. We also play tunes and arrangements by J. J. Johnson, plus mainstream versions of tunes like "I Should Care", "Louisiana" and "Crazy Rhythm. 

This is a classic line-up from the '50s and '60s, with a beautiful warm sound - the tenor sax and trombone combining to produce beautiful sonorities and nimble interplay. We get great support from our stellar rhythm section, too."
