PIPSY is a DIY power pop band from Dunedin, New Zealand – now based in Melbourne Australia.

Pipsy is Paul McMillan (Guitars, Vocal), Shane Hellyer (Bass), and Dan Hoffman (Drums).

The band’s music spans many genres, from pop to indie rock, psychedelia to grunge - but always centering around gnashing guitars, contrasted with dreamy pop-melodies.

Pipsy’s debut album ‘Users’ has been described as ’21 minutes of foot-tapping, high energy, indie surf pop punk’ (NZ Musician), and their latest release, the ‘Strung Out EP’ - ‘exploding with jangly and infectious indie-rock hooks’ (Hhhhappy Magazine).
