Mikelangelo and the Long Lost Friends are based in the NSW town of Braidwood, nestled in the beautiful Southern Tablelands between the Far South Coast and Canberra. A town teeming with artists, poets, musicians and other creatives, the group features Jake Annetts on bass, Steve Maher on keyboard, Bruce Rose on guitar and Ben Willson on drums. They have worked up a set of new material alongside a bunch of Mikelangelo classics, playing an eclectic mix of slow grooves and roots rock, sultry ballads and driving pop, all delivered with Mikelangelo's trademark charm and baritone croon. Lyrically the new songs travel the highways and byways of the human heart, along the wild roads that lead back home to love.
