Before the end of the last ice age 11000 years ago Australia and Papua were one landmass … MEGANESIA. Songlines of North Australia predate this period, and speak of a time when the two lands were connected. Today the connection is alive and well with beat makers, producers, rappers, and dancers flowing between genres from traditional drumming to hiphop, reggae, RnB, Naka Beat, and everything in between.
