Join Maeve Grieve and her band to celebrate the release of her debut EP, Midnight Commute. With support from Hettie Zygier and Clover Blue, this lineup features three of Melbourne’s most exciting, emerging songwriters.
Originally from Tasmania, Maeve Grieve is a Melbourne-based singer, songwriter, and guitarist. Blending elements of folk, jazz and alternate rock styles, Midnight Commute showcases Maeve’s distinctive narrative songwriting, interwoven with her intricate yet catchy guitar playing. Midnight Commute is a collection of four raw and introspective tracks that explore themes of journeys, change, night time and longing – all personal and outward reflections from this young, emerging artist. It draws inspiration from such varied artists as Fiona Apple, Madison Cunningham, Joni Mitchell, and Radiohead.
