As folk music legend Pete Seeger once said, “A good song reminds us what we’re fighting for”.
With carefully-crafted lyrics and a rich, powerful bass voice accompanied by acoustic guitar, Luke’s rousing anthems and contemplative ballads range from our First Peoples to refugees, fracking, climate change, war, drug addiction and some light-hearted commentary on modern Australian life and politics.
Growing up in country Victoria, then living in Melbourne, Luke was a regular performer at The Drunken Poet open mics. He now calls Mullumbimby in northern NSW home, and plays at folk clubs and festivals across Australia.
