It's Lost And Lonesome's 21st birthday!!
The Smallgoods // Last Leaves // Lucy Roleff // great earthquake // Mid-State Orange // Cayn Borthwick
As the year begins to dig deep, it has just occurred to Lost And Lonesome that the label was conceived (and birthed) in 1998, thus making it 21 years old. Hoorah indeed!
To celebrate, we have pulled together a dreamy line-up of artists, old and new, for an afternoon and evening of unbridled revelry, secret handshakes and drunken war stories.
L&L stalwarts The Smallgoods have recently awoken from their lengthy slumber and will soon release their first album in twelve years, whilst Mid-State Orange (who have lain equally dormant) are also threatening a new record, in the final stages of mixery.
Lucy Roleff released a stunningly beautiful album (her second) this year while Cayn Borthwick (NoZu sax man) gave us the first taste of his solo work, with an album on the way in early ‘20.
Great Earthquake’s Noah Symons has had some time out to rehabilitate his busted up knee, which also means his other band Last Leaves have had ample time to accumulate a bonkers number of new songs!
