Masters of grooving on the darker fringes of instrumental music, their sound journeys from funk to spiritual jazz, drifting past psychedelic fuzz-rock and back again. With a fifth LP on the horizon, their latest jams, like the slinky ‘Dimmed Lights’ and bone-rattling ‘Monoliths’, shimmer and shake with all that patented Seven Ups charisma. Let’s groove tonight.
