Join us Friday 12 July for a special event featuring award-winning Gunditjmara musician, filmmaker and author, Richard J. Frankland. Hosted by Daniel James of The Mission.

In honour of NAIDOC Week 2024, Frankland will take to the RRR stage to perform live, guiding us through his prolific career as a member of bands Djaambi and Charcoal Club, and his collaborations with artists such as Adalita, Archie Roach and Tiddas. He'll also chat to Daniel about his decades-long work for land rights - including founding the Mirimbiak Nations Aboriginal Corporation in 1994 - and his current research focusing on First Nations cultural and community foundations.

Triple R subscribers and First Nations people, can head to Subscriber Giveaways for more details. Giveaway opens Friday 5 July.

PLEASE NOTE: If you extra access needs, please don't hesitate to contact the station at reception@rrr.org.au before the event.

For those unable to attend, you can still tune in to the performance via FM, digital, online or with the Triple R app.
