Striking a perfect balance between head and heart, Hugo van Buuren’s alt-folk explorations have been warmly embraced following the release of his debut singles ‘Morning Eyes’ and ‘There Is A Place For Everything’ earlier this month.
Flowing on from a long hot heavy summer of feelings/writing/swimming and backyard shed recording, Hugo is set to release his first collection of tunes tied together under the same title, ‘There Is A Place For Everything’.
From intimate fingerpicking tunes through to expansive full band arrangements, Hugo will be bringing his debut release and headline show to life with the help of an all-star cast of musicians from local projects Butternut Sweetheart, Happy Axe, True Salt and Geography.
With dear friends Geography also opening the night, it’s set to be a gentle gathering of close listening and community at the Gasometer Upstairs on Thu 11th May.
