!Hasta Pronto! Este Septiembre en Bodriggy

This is the last weekend of 'Hasta Pronto,' where for the month, we've shared live latino music every Thursday and Sunday.

It's a public holiday for the grand final public holiday on Friday, so expect this one to go late after a spectacular performance by The New Monos

With their roots in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Melbourne-based band The New Monos combine inspiration from their South American heritage and diverse musical experience with the flavour of contemporary Buenos Aires, mixing reggae, folkloric music, Cumbia, rock, Rumba, hip-hop and Latin beats, all expressed with the passion of the Tango.

The New Monos began at the end of 2015, with the Rodriguez brothers and Brian Lee Silva, everyone from the same Argentinean Suburb, but meet here in Australia, Melbourne, start the mixing of Cumbia rhythms with reggae, disco with instruments like accordion, acoustic guitar and vocals.

After the bands performance, Randy Castilla and friends will be on the decks playing latin dance rhythms upstairs in Stingrays for the remainder of the night.
