It’s getting harder to look at the bright side in the current global and local climate - from human rights atrocities to the cost-of-living crisis it’s easy to get lost in the bleakness of it all. But, as a wise woman once said, “After the darkness arrives the sweet dawn” (Lauryn Hill). So, as we welcome in the turning of the seasons with the Spring Equinox, we’d like to invite you for an evening of celebration, good vibes, connecting with community, and holding space for those who need it the most.

Passionately curated by Jungle City projects, in collaboration with Selector Troublemekka, “Gaza Mi Seh” is a Dancehall and Afrobeats Bashment party bringing people from all walks of life together for this special evening at the legendary Kindred Bandroom.

The evening will open with a ceremony of dance and ritual to welcome in the arrival of the Spring Equinox from 5pm – 6pm, followed by non-stop party vibes with a lineup of Naarm/Melbourne’s heavyweight selectors including:

“Gaza Mi Seh” Bashment Party and Fundraiser is an opportunity to raise our collective vibe for our local community, while acknowledging the millions around the world and those in our own backyard facing hardship beyond measure.

Giving what we can financially to grass roots organisations doing the work on the ground. Everyone involved in this event has generously donated their time and talents so that all profits from tickets sales go directly to the four Organisations we have chosen to support.
