Recently formed around a dining table in Reservoir, Fountain Lakes is Melbourne’s newest folk dreamboat supergroup. Featuring Jac Tonks (Amarillo), Emma Heeney (Ladychoir, Angie Hart) and Brooke Russell (The Mean Reds, The Canyon Callers), these three songwriters have come together to form a sweet, harmony-fi lled, acoustic trio, that will warm your heart and break it at the same time. Ain’t that the best?
After just over a year of wowing audiences around Melbourne, Fountain Lakes recorded their debut EP early this year with producer Greg J. Walker at the General Store studios in South Gippsland.
To celebrate the release of the first single ‘Dreams’, Fountain Lakes are playing a matinee show at the Wesley Anne on March 30. This poppy, harmony-soaked love song, declares utter devotion to the object of your desire, even when dreams may tempt you.
