Join Finn Alexander and the Forever Party for a night of music and conversation as they play a paired back version of Party On, their debut album, in full. This isn’t just a performance – it’s a conversation.

Between tracks, musician and anthropologist, Finn Alexander will engage with the audience, sharing the deeper meanings behind the lyrics and the stories that shaped the album. From the collapse of faith and the injection of religious politics in God is Murdered, to the tension between loneliness and technological conformity in Married to the Machine. This is a rare opportunity to gain personal insight into the ideas that form songs.

Expect to hear the album the way that it was written, an acoustic guitar, a piano and a violin – come for the songs, stay for the stories, and walk away knowing the heart of Party On.

Finn Alexander and the Forever Party chart a brooding musical course that explores the depths of being human. With meticulous layering, interwoven melodies and cathartic crescendos, they are a band bursting with heart. Their debut album Party On released to critical acclaim in mid 2024, alongside a WA tour, feature-album spot on RTRFM, multiple WAM Fresh Picks, a spot on Wave Rock Weekender and support slots for the likes of Grace Cummings, Carla Geneve and Southern River Band.
