Static is delighted to announce the debut of Danish born and Berlin based DJ Tool (Mala Junta/Fast Forward Productions). Returning to 24 Moons on March 31st with their upgraded Void sound system for another intimate DJ layout, we are beyond keen to share our next experience with you.
Co-founder of the notorious Mala Junta queer party in Berlin, DJ Tool is a vinyl precisionist, possessing a sound littered with old school groove and funk, uplifting trance and backroom psychedelia.
Over the years, DJ Tool’s prominent rise continues to impress, with releases on Fast Forward Productions, Global Amnesia and Standard Deviation. Known for championing underground sound and talent within inclusive spaces, we are beyond excited for DJ Tool and their mind bending Naarm debut!
Paired with some new faces to the Static dancefloor with Eastern Distributor (Shed/Amniote Editions) B2B Zara (Pure Space/Kinesis Recordings) and a returning favourite, T-N (Amniote Editions), this is going to be 7 hours of non-stop energy.
Static acknowledges the traditional owners of the land, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging.
Free entry for all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patrons. Get in touch with the Static Facebook or Instagram page prior to the event if possible.
