Caleb Wilson is a Melbourne based pianist, composer and bandleader. A student of the esteemed classical pianist Timothy Young (ANAM), he was the recipient of the Will Poskitt Piano Award, Agnes Robertson Piano Scholarship and Phyllis MacDonald Memorial Scholarship. Receiving praise for his piano playing and compositions alike, Wilson has cultivated an authentic and individual sound through his studies with some of Australia’s finest jazz musicians.
Joined by long time friends and colleagues Fred Booker Malcolm (bass), and Quinn Knight (drums), the band will perform the original compositions of Wilson and Booker Malcolm, as well as a few personal favourites from the Great American Songbook.
