Folk Bitch Trio and Bones and Jones unite again to launch their debut 7’’ via Bonsai Records. The collaboration was launched to a sold out Curtin band room in late November. Captivating the audience and paving the way for something special. Formed in late 2019, Melbourne based singer-songwriters Heide Peverelle, Gracie Sinclair and Jeanie Pilkington are Folk Bitch Trio.

FBT’s compositions establish a melancholy, raw sound through gentle guitar melody and rich harmony. With influences from contemporary folk artists Gillian Welch, Julia Jacklin and The Staves, their music combines honest songwriting and lush three part harmony to craft a sound of their own.

Over Several years Bones and Jones have emerged as one of Melbourne’s most exciting and energetic Performers. The dynamic six piece have graced festivals across the country such as New Years Evie, Grampians Music Festival, Dashville, Meadow & Boogie. Crafting songs inspired by the greats Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Karen Dalton, Wilco and Nick Lowe, their DIY ethos has gained the group recognition from the Music Victoria Awards, NME, The Guardian, FBI, Triple R, PBS, Rage & ABC.
