Danish born, UK based singer-songwriter Andreas S. Jensen launches his debut Australian single at the wonderful Merri Creek Tavern. Sharing the bill are the incredible Hugo Race and Miguel Rios.
Andreas' solo debut album "Disturbed" was supported by the BBC Radio 6 and many other radio stations and received great reviews. On the back of the album Andreas toured solo in the UK, US, Germany, New Zealand and Denmark.
His upcoming album Keep Sane (to be released 2023) is inspired by his many visits to The House Of Songs in Austin, Texas. The songs are packed with Americana and Alt Country influences, picked up through co-writes with local Texas writers many of whom contributes to the album with Texas style slide and fingerpicking guitar, bar piano and back ground vocals.
Andreas has been a practising musician all his life since starting his career as a teenager with Danish kid rock band Parkering Forbudt in 1979 followed by two years with Danish BMG signed Simcess. He has written, produced and performed with luminaries from the Dub Pistols to Arman Van Heldens and many others, and performed on stages large and small all over the world.
This is his first solo Australian tour.

Miguel Rios's solo album "Slaughterhouse Road" and accompanying live performances met with great reviews. Born in northern Australia, now living in Melbourne, Miguel picked up the guitar at 11 years old and has played ever since. Miguel is a beguiling story-telling guitarist, always giving space in his songs to powerful lyrics that speak of closed doors, magic men, replica pistols and the cold spaces that no fire can warm. Slaughterhouse Road has a pared-down grittiness, rich hypnotic timbre and heartbreakingly beautiful interludes of violin and mandolin by collaborators Ash Jones and Matt Stonehouse. Co produced by Greg O'Shea and recorded straight to tape in a small tin studio in Victoria, Australia, during the Capricorn eclipse full moon of July 2020.
