Album of the Week
Triple R's Album of the Week is Cartoon Darkness, a bold and brilliant new chapter for Amyl and the Sniffers. Recorded at Foo Fighters' 606 Studio in Los Angeles with producer Nick Launay, these 13 tracks introduce fresh sounds and styles while keeping the band's signature intensity.
'Jerkin'' is an explosive and exhilarating start, while tracks like 'Big Dreams' bring more reflective energy. Acoustic guitars are played for the first time in the band's history on 'Bailing On Me', while 'U Should Not Be Doing That' is charged by disco-inspired beats. Blistering punk anthems alternate with more contemplative moments.
Triple R Subscribers can enter to win a copy of the Album of the Week, enter here by Sunday 3 November 2024.
